An old project from the archives. Still a favorite.

I contributed to Geoffrey Mac brand’s strategy through both product design and rebranding work. Branding contributions for Geoffrey Mac includes a full typeface inspired by Geoffrey’s “runes” used in his designs.

We used this font in Geoffrey Mac, GMAC and Sharon Needles merchandise, as well as in logo and promotional work for the central brand. Additional animation was created for the brand’s website using the fonts and graphics created. These runes have been a mainstay of the brand since 2012.

Product design for the brand includes a range of jewelry that was modeled in Rhino, 3d printed, and cast in silicone and resin. Our team used experimental techniques including creating holographic silicone. The line was inspired by the film Metropolis, to coordinate with the Geoffrey Mac and GMAC apparel collections. I also contributed styling efforts for shoots.

The collection was sold at Patricia Field, and purchased by Rita Ora and Azalea Banks. Designs were featured in a fine art exhibition by Galleray at 215 Bowery as well as editorials by OUT, Dark Beauty and Dapifer Magazine.

I learned a lot from working with a creative of Geoffrey’s caliber, and I highly recommend hiring him for custom work.
